".... Sarah stepped up, toting a rather nice 12-string guitar. As she was friends with Callum and Chris who'd played earlier, my expectations were raised, and she didn't disappoint. Opening with "Paper Trail", Sarah mesmerised the audience with her very clear, pure voice, that I felt had a certain "still" quality to it, like a pool of very calm, clear water. The picked patterns on the guitar complemented the singing well, and moved up a gear for the next, "Raining Again", which had some resonant strumming, Sarah sliding up and down the fretboard to good effect. The final song, "Fall", had some lovely dischordances in both the vocal and guitar notes, unusual and very effective, giving an atmospheric meaning to the words "Fly is the same as to fall". Sarah is playing at Medina on the 13th of June, along with Les Miseres, so it should be a good one. "
